So, I know I just referred to myself in the third person in the title, but I just wanted to get my point across. Oh Yes, I did it! Skydiving has been on my bucket list since I can remember, and last Christmas, Kevin got me a voucher for a skydive. So this summer a friend and I did it. Brandon Tucker and I jumped this morning. This is because Kevin and Trisha said they would rather not. Not that I can blame them, it is freakin scary. However, talking to the guy that jumped tandem with me, he said he has jumped over 8,000 times. So at that point I quit being scared of dying, and just became nervouse to jump out of the airplane. We saddled up, boarded the plane, got above the clouds and it was time. What shocked me was how fast we all fell out of the plane. We all droped out one after another like dead flies. I was near tears...peeing my pants...what have you. Anyways, we fell out of the side of the plane and the only thing that kept going through my mind was "this is happening, this is really happening. I am falling at 120 mph towards the ground." It was awesome. I totally forgot everything the instructor told me to do, so it was a good thing he had control. After a 60 second free fall our shoot opened and that was a nice gentle ride down back to the hanger. It was awesome. But...I would never do it solo. No way. My mind went blank.

Before and After paint Fiasco
So, I decided I was done with the red walls. Red was fun, but after 6 years, I needed a change. This was before.

And this is after...
Summer Fun
This summer has been filled with various activities such as splash pads, local camping, fishing and of course, water fun. The pictures above are from our new (to us) trailer where we re carpeted, re did the counter tops, re upholstered and such...it looks retro, but thats becuase I am too cheap to spend $35 a yard on 20 yards of fabric. So we went with the 70s look and spent $3 a yard. Whatever, its new...
My kids have really enjoyed the 4 wheeler rides and hot summer fun. Hopefully, more to come

I want you to be happy!
If you know Austin, you know he is a sweet boy with a huge heart. The other day we were eating breakfast, (he has never been much of a breakfast eater) but I believe it is an important meal of the day and you need it for your strength to play. Austin wouldnt eat his cereal, and I told him "that makes mommy sad when you tell her 'no' and dont eat your food." He put his head in his hands and thought about it and turned around to me and said near tears, "but mom, I WANT you to be happy!!" That made me smile and he actually ate his whole bowl of cereal. After he was done he asked me "are you happy now mommy?" I told him that I was and that he was such a sweet boy! How did I get so lucky?
Chubbic
So every Summer in June the Green family has a family reunion in Idaho. We all camp on Kevins uncles front lawn for a weekend. (I know, a little white trash), but this year it was actually pretty fun, compared to last years disaster we wont mention. Mercedes did pretty good, no home sickness or crying. All of the cousins played really well, the boys went fishing while the ladies and kids stayed back for lunch and a waterfight. Afterwords we met up with the boys at the dam to go boating. Turns out Mercedes LOVES to boat! She kept screaming "who hoo! who hoo! Mom, put your hands in the air! Crazy Sean") Sean was the boat driver, and he was a little crazy. Austin wasnt too fond of the boat, he said he didnt like the wind, so he sat down on the floor. He enjoyed it, as long as he was out of the wind.
There was a playground on the beach we spent the afternoon at where the kids got filthy and Mercedes actually pooped in the sand, but thats a whole other story, but hey, we are camping right? Turns out it was super fun this year.
Lagoon!
So as you know we have season passes to Lagoon this year, and we try to go as often as we can. Its amazing that we have already been a few times and still havent even tried all of the kids rides yet. It could be that it takes FOREVER for the workers to load and unload all of the kids one at a time, but still we have lots of fun. We love to meet up with friends there and pack lunches and go on the train and see all of the animals. Its lots of fun!

It will be fun to go in the day when everybody is at work or school, meet up with friends that have passes as well and let the kids have just tons of fun. Plus I am thinking fun date nights, or just a nice cool down at lagoon a beach on a hot saturday with the family...This should be fun!!

Sweet Moves
I think Austin is going to be a natural break dancer. I dont know where he learned these moves. However, he does have a wicked one legged shake. LOL
Austin Turns 3!!!

My little boy has turned 3 years old! Can you believe it! He is growing up big and fast and he had a fun birthday. This year it fell on some Easter festivities as well. He has known for months that he is turning 3 on Easter. He had lots of fun and of course was very spoiled. He got remote cars, and lincoln logs, clothes, books, trains....yeah I know. I tried to make a soccerball cake but....that wasnt enough cake for everyone, so Austin helped me make cup cakes too. We had a nice big birthday party for him up at grandmas with all of the cousins and family members. Austin, you are such a sweet boy! Happy birthday pumpkin!
